Happy Galentine's Day!

Remember celebrating Valentine’s Day as a kid? Everyone would bring 20-something Valentines (enough for the whole class), and you’d go home with a decorated shoe box full of assorted candy. Valentine’s Day wasn’t just a day to celebrate your significant other, you celebrated all of your friends...it was the best!

It's my absolute favorite food day of the year...National Popcorn Day!! I absolutely love popcorn, it is hands down my favorite food. Given the choice between pretty much any food in the world and popcorn, I would choose popcorn. In honor of this holiday celebrating my very favorite food in the world, I'm sharing my secret recipe for homemade popcorn...beware it's addicting!

Taylor & Nathan: Romantic Branded Wedding with a Touch of Travel

Taylor and Nathan are the sweetest couple, and it was such a joy to work with them on their wedding stationery. Nathan was one of the few grooms I've had that attended nearly every stationery meeting. It was so fun to watch them look over the paper samples together and discuss which would go best with their venue, attire, and floral choices. At our first meeting, one of the existing suites in my portfolio caught their eye and we worked together to make it their own.

FAQ: What goes on enclosure cards?

Enclosure cards are one of my favorite things to design because there are so many different things we can include! Examples of possible enclosure cards that you can add to your suite are details, accommodations, transportation, reception, directions, and itinerary. The most common information to include as an enclosure card is the locations of the hotels where you have negotiated room blocks. If this is the only information on the card, we typically use the title "Accommodations". You can also include directions to the ceremony and/or reception, or even notes on attire!

DIY: Create a Mother of the Bride or Mother of The Groom Wedding Day Survival Kit

I'm pulling from my wedding day archives with this gift idea tutorial - I created these survival kits for my mom and mother-in-law and they loved them! As the people everyone will look to on the day of for everything from beauty supplies (hair spray and makeup remover) to tissues and Advil, this kit will help them be prepared for anything. Add a cute poem, and it's both a thoughtful and practical gift idea!

Program Content: Information to Include on Your Wedding Programs

These pretty pieces of informative art keep your guests busy as they wait for the ceremony to start and can include a number of details, such as...

The Ceremony order of the ceremony finalized with the officiant

Quote or Bible Verse

Fun Facts fun facts about the couple and/or the wedding planning process

Cookies For Breakfast

Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! In honor of the occasion, I may have substituted the dried fruit in my favorite breakfast cookie recipe for chocolate chips. I'm a big believer in eating everything in moderation, and since these cookies get their sweetness from applesauce and honey rather than sugar, I consider them a guiltless grab-and-go treat!
