It's the week of Thanksgiving, and you know what that means? Fellow Christmas lovers rejoice! Everyone has to officially stop shaming you for being in the holiday spirit "too early" (as if there were such a thing). One of may favorite parts of this time of year is receiving holiday cards from my friends and family. I love looking through the pictures, and let's be honest, getting physical mail that isn't coupons or bills is just plain fun!
One of the first custom wedding stationery suites I ever designed, back when I lived in Austin, TX, was for the sweetest couple, Christa and Jimmy. Christa was such a creative bride, the DIY touches she added to her big day were just amazing! When she reached out about her sister-in-law's wedding, I couldn't wait to see what they had in mind for style and colors. It was such an honor to have the chance to collaborate with a past bride alongside her sister-in-law, the two of them designed such a beautiful event!
I can’t believe it’s already that time of year again...Powersheets Launch Day! It’s like Christmas for those of us who love planning, color-coordination, and organization. If you were to ask me what tool I think has had the biggest impact on the growth and success of my business, the answer would be the One Year Powersheets workbook.
This is how graphic designers procrastinate...we design things for our home and then give them away for free! In an attempt to make our home more welcoming for our guests, I decided we needed a frame in our guest room with our wifi network name and password. I've seen them at other people's homes and always made a mental note to add one to ours because it's such a thoughtful touch for those of us who do not have an unlimited data plan or maybe need to wake up early and get a little work done.
